Training
Each year Sovereign offers young people committed to achieving success the chance to start their career in the growing sector Logistics.
It is possible to train as a logistics or haulage manager with either an Abitur (university entrance qualification equivalent to "A" levels) or mittlerer Reife (secondary school leaving certificate, equivalent to GCSE/"O" levels). Our trainees learn in either two or three years (according to their school leaving certificate) both the practical and theoretical foundations of this demanding and future-orientated profession.
They, thereby, cover not only all relevant stages relevant for a well-founded training in this sector, but also receive further training and instruction courses, additional to their academic and professional basic education, throughout our company. Following completion of their training, our young logistics managers are dispatched to one of our European branches, in order to experience other cultures and internalise procedures and our company structure.
We aim to offer all trainees a permanent job if they successfully complete their training, in order to fulfil our company aims of growth and opening up new areas of operation and market shares. We increasingly draw upon our own young talents, as they have lived and learned our specialist field, company philosophy and structure during years of training.
This company philosophy includes, among other things, treating one another in a collegial and respectful way. We encourage team spirit, a good working atmosphere and enjoyment of your job in both internal and external training courses - at the end of a successful day we at Sovereign promote the culture of the social get-together. External courses on subjects such as nutrition and relaxation training promote the physical well-being of our employees.
Come to us if you want to be trained in the following areas:
- Training as a manager (male or female) for haulage and logistic services
- HSBA dual study course for logistics management (operational training plus bachelor course)
